Wingstop COPYCAT Lemon Garlic Pepper Wings


2 lbs. chicken wings
1 whole garlic clove (4 slices chopped)
1 tbsp. pepper
2 tbsp. salt
Place wings in bowl; pour on lemon juice, garlic and pepper. Sprinkle salt and pout oil; stir. Marinate for 2 hours at room temperature, stirring occasionally to keep coated. Wings may be barbecued or placed in saucepan and baked 20 to 30 minutes, basting occasionally.

I have been craving Popeye’s. There is NOTHING WHOLE30 or CORE about Popeye’s Chicken. Sooo…I’m trying to focus on what I can have and what I can cook. 🙂  I am saving a ton of money not eating out all the time.  This looks Paleo Friendly 🙂

I will post a picture of the chicken LEGS I cooked last night.  Yes…legs.  I normally hate a leg.  It is just too leggy for me…but this recipe I came up with…OMG!  I tore it up  :).  I marinated the legs in Tabasco Buffalo Wing Sauce…THEN…used Big Mista‘s seasonings on top.  I found that I had legs not wings.  Put that with a plate of green beans…it was good!  Gonna get that recipe together and post it soon.  I never measure I eyeball and taste so it may be a while before I get the exact numbers up. 🙂
