Guess I’m Doing…CORE…or something close to that…

I am just getting back from New Orleans (had a great time!!) so that is the reasoning for not writing. I’m still here…had some beignets…some Deanies Seafood…and a ton of crawfish…but I am not sitting on a gain. I did get in my walking in the morning and in the French Quarter. Of course…here are some pictures of my adventure back home! My family…my son…some of the evil food I ingested…

So…um…yeah I’m back.

While I was there I found my Mom’s old Weight Watchers Points program. She WAS LOSING weight then suddenly she stopped doing it. Her main complaint?? She was tired of trying to eat all her points, measuring, counting, weighing, all the things that we HATE when we do weight watchers. I was the same…I could never figure out if I was entering the correct amount of points so I would gain and lose the same 5 pounds every week. Fast forward to today…Jennifer Hudson is looking amazing and I am once again looking at Weight Watchers. I just can’t afford it right now and if I have the Flexpoints/Core program at my fingertips…why not?? Atkins isn’t working for me the same way it did 6 years ago…and to be honest I am just not feeling it. I am feeling the CORE program. I look at it as Weight Watchers version of the South Beach program.

This Plan goes like this…if it isn’t on the list you don’t eat it or you use some of the 35 weekly allotted Flex Points given to you. Too easy. No measuring or writing.  I’m probably going to blog though.

I am still trying to find something that I can click with like I did with Atkins. Atkins worked wonderfully for me before and I stayed on the lower carb kick for a couple of years, it just seems it isn’t working for me anymore.

Well…it kind of works for me…I just think I need to expand my eating because I am older now.

Eh…I’m off to get some work done.
