Witchy Ways…

A White Magic Spell for weight loss. HEY! You never know unless you try…spells work only if you believe that they will. So keep an open mind…our thoughts are more powerful than you think.

Candle Weight Loss Spell

You get 1 white, 1 blue, and 1yellow candle. Light them all in front of a mirror and say this chant:

Lighter thinner
that I say
Make me my right size
this very day

When you finish this chant, pour the wax from the candles into a small glass with a new wick in it. Repeat this day after day until your new candle is made. Burn your new candle until it or the wind puts the candle out. When you’re feeling overweight again light the candle and let it put itself out.

East Meeting West…

I just looked closely at the pictures that I posted of my new eyeglasses. What the heck is that on my forehead?? Looks like two caterpillars crawling towards each other. I am on the verge of a uni-brow…East is meeting West in eyebrow world!
If nothing is done about this I will look like Bert.

Me right now...even the unruly bun is kind of accurate.

Terrible! 🙂 Sooo…right after work it is time to break down and UN-CHEWBACCA my face! While I’m at it a refill and a pedicure will follow. Gotta always remember my Diva Ways.

Comfort Food!

Mine is pasta. I am so glad to have discovered Dreamfields Pasta. I’m making this tonight!

Triple Cheesy Mac & Cheese

From the kitchen of Dreamfields Pasta
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Bake Time: 20 minutes
1 box Dreamfields Elbows
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups skim milk
1 package (8 ounces) light cream cheese (Neufchatel, 1/3 less fat), cut into 8 cubes
1 teaspoon each salt and pepper (optional)
8 ounces (2 cups) shredded 2% milk sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
4 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese, divided

  1. Preheat oven to 375*F. Spray 2-1/2 quart casserole/baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet (or Dutch oven) over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic 3 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring frequently. Add milk and cream cheese to skillet; season with salt and pepper. Continue cooking until cream cheese has melted, stirring frequently; do not boil (cream cheese does not need to melt completely).
  3. Toss pasta and sauce together. Stir in Cheddar cheese (reserve 2 tablespoons) and 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese. Pour into baking dish. Sprinkle with reserved 2 tablespoons each Cheddar and Parmesan.
  4. Bake uncovered at 375*F 20 to 25 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Makes 8 main dish servings.

Now what??

EXERCISE…that is what! I am in Ketosis (this part of Atkins is a MAD Diuretic), not hungry, energized, and most inportantly…I CAN SEE! Yay Rob!
I did go to Hastings to see if there is anything new on the Taebo front. He has the 24/7 System (I HATED it so I gave it to my Brother) and a couple of other new things but nothing like what he put out before. I got the best results from Taebo Amped System. I still  have everything plus the added workouts that he sold to include Ultimate Taebo (90 minutes of sweating…Shellie was VERY pregnant in that one so the workout isn’t insane). If you can find this particular workout system somewhere I recommend you try it.
Jumping back into exercise (it helps with my moods) Here is the rotation that I will follow. Since I have been walking my Barracks for the past couple of months I have the fitness level needed to get through the rotation:

AMPED! Got the best results from this workout...and it is FUN!

I love the way I am feeling just from the few days I have been doing low carb. My body doesn’t do too well with a bunch of junk. It makes my body and my mood bad. I can’t wait to start.

For breakfast?? But of course…I absolutely LOVE turkey. It is a better protein than eating red meat all the time. I am going full steam ahead on my Robkins (Atkins modified by Moi) way of eating.  🙂 Every morning I eat some form of protein. I love eggs but sometimes it just doesn’t hit the spot. There really isn’t a rule as to what is a “breakfast food”.

Pre-marinated with natural flavors, our Savory Servings Boneless Turkey Breast Roast is tender, meaty and delicious. Finally, great taste gets more convenient. Breast meat lovers will enjoy this all breast meat roast that cooks in a fraction of the time it takes to prepare an entire turkey.

I found this by the fresh turkey. I was on a mission to get some turkey wings and I also scooped this up. It only took 90 minutes to roast. There was no preparation needed and it is OM NOM Delish! I paid 8 bucks for this it has lasted 2 days for me. Whenever I am craving something “not approved” I sliced some of this and nosh on it
I really wanted to share this little gem of a find! You don’t have to limit yourself to just breakfast foods in the morning.
🙂 Later!

New Glasses!

AFTER 12 years of not being able to see clearly…my first of two pairs of glasses came in. These are my work glasses.  My sporty ones should be here by Friday. 🙂
***I have no bridge on my nose…it doesn’t matter what type of glasses I get they slide down! I’m just happy to see small print and have sunglasses! YAY!***

Random thoughts

I’m waiting in line to clean the extremely filthy Skittle.  It hasn’t been this bad in a long time. She is a filthy filthy Skittle.  Being married to a Psychopath for so long has made it unbearable for me to have a dirty car.
I’m getting “You’re A Dirty Girl” extreme clean package. So I have time to ponder.

Why do people insist on putting the stickers on the back of the Family Truckster showing how many times they have procreated? I saw that today and I counted I think 8 kiddies…two cats and two dogs.  First thing I thought was Clown Car.
To the younger generation popping out babies like Jiffy Pop…

Your vagina is not a clown car. Please stop treating it as such.
Thank you for your time.
Going to check out some workout DVDs. The Skittle is clean and I have someone racing up behind me to get into the wash. I guess their car was worst than mine.

i am NOT liking the way my blog looks right now. It seems that everything is on the bottom (the footer) driving me NUTS!  Going to do some walking around the barracks and will work on this later! Sorry about the way it looks…

I’m sitting here waiting on a REAL part-time job to give ne a call. It would be way better than the 1 day a week I work now. Work from home…in the evenings after my real job. This place requires three interviews to work with them. THREE!  All for the princely sum of 9.00 an hour. Wow…
Although I am a Government Employee (as ranted in my post below) being recently divorced (I’m a Dicorcee…how French) has put a strain on my finances.
********WHELP…just got the call…they need me to work for three weeks from 12-9PM…Monday through Friday. Conflicts mightily with Full Time job. It’s a no-go. Maybe Wal-Mart?? Cashiering?? UGH, that is joy, especially in this town!********
Time to do Plan B…
