More Pictures…

From the Fair!! One year later we all decided to go to the Fun Fest again as a family. We were also celebrating Lou and Kellie’s 5th anniversary! The difference this year?? A new baby, Lo has a boyfriend, Jay has girlfriends, and I am about 50 pounds lighter…but we all are the same. We all look a mess because of the rides…I am even glaring at a young soldier who was looking at my daughter. They caught a picture of the Murder-Death-Kill look I was giving him. 🙂 I know the kids had fun because they were hopping around like puppies on the way to the car. At the beginning I was dropped like a bad habit by the girl…then later by the boy. I was stunned when I walked up on him and saw a young lady. The only thing I could say was “Hi…You’re PRETTY!” My son wanted to fall through the fairground and I scurried away to my brother and sister in law misty eyed. They are growing so fast!! I have a ton of pictures to upload to Flickr. I will share some shots here though…
The tickets!!
Smiling…having fun!!
Practicing the Momma Glare…
Kellie, Lou and Baby…My brother was wearing the Snugli.

The cute couple…
That is Chad’s older brother…
I have tons more.  I had to upgrade my Flickr account to fit all my pictures.  Now I have unlimited space and I can take all the pictures that I want.
I am looking forward to going to another fair soon.  One of the perks of living in Arizona is the weather is almost always good…I really do not miss Winter!

So much has happened this week.  My daughter went to a dance.  The difference is she was ASKED by someone.  After talking to the young man’s mother for over an hour I decided that she could go.  She looked very pretty and I thought they looked so cute.  I have been sticking to my workouts and to my diet…it has just been so busy this week.  We are going to a fair tonight so I will have even more pictures to post. I am camera happy these days…I told my daughter that if she wants a boyfriend then she will have to endure me taking pictures of her or she will have to break up with him.  Hee hee!
On their way to the football game.  The kid is a football player at another high school.
Too goofy…she is happy though.  He boughther a real flower wrist corsage.
Here is her date…his name is Chad. Everytime she says his name I think of the Alltel commercial…“Listen up, Chad!”.  I know I am silly… 🙂
They are holding hands….I’m really feeling ancient these days.
She had a great time…I was happy that his parents were around.  It made me comfortable letting her go on a date.  I sent these pictures to her Dad.  Just wanted to make sure he didn’t miss any of this.  His Mom and I were both tearing up…funny all kinds of things make me want to cry these days.  🙂
I have to get ready to go to the fair… I will be back with more picture of the adventures of my family…

Someone posted a question asking how much water we all drink.  I drink about 2 gallons a day…but I believe that has a lot to do with where I am living and the fact that I exercise so much.  The Middle Manager has an interesting article about water and also a chart showing how much you should aim for to aid in your weight loss goals.

While you are there check out the rest of his site.  I know not everyone does low carb to lose weight!  🙂
Gonna get in a short workout to stick to my challenge…so far I have been on track.  It takes 21 days to to make something a habit.  I have heard that somewhere else other than Billy…I already have the workout habit…I just want to reinforce it.  🙂

No Mas!! :(

That is it…I have officially gotten my $39.95 worth! After the latest information that has come out about the creator of Kimkins (also said information making me sick to my stomach) … I cannot continue to visit there.  Most of those folks seem like nice people.  I could never bring myself to post because of the heavy handed editing and banning of people who had an opinion other than “Yea Kimmer!” or “You saved my life!” .   She is a liar and a fraud.  No regards for the health of the people there…just the money they can bring in.

“Claw is our master.” “Claw chooses who will go, and who will stay.”

I do not understand it.  I will never understand this…blindly following a person that is obviously a liar and a fraud.  Slamming anyone who tries to warn you of what is to come if you continue to follow the path that you are on.  Ignoring people that have been told by DOCTORS that the plan is dangerous…but will listen to someone who has no medical knowledge.  Someone who hides behind fake pictures and harsh words if you cannot “follow the plan”.  Hell…SHE couldn’t follow the plan…recent pictures show that she is morbidly obese.  Why would anyone follow that advice??  Everything she states can be found in various low carb books.  Everything is copied and pasted…nothing is her own.  Would you send your child to a KNOWN pedophile for babysitting just because they SAY it isn’t true?  If you don’t eat…you will lose weight.  Period.  Is that kind of advice worth spending your money on??
Sigh…I can’t do this anymore.  Just know…Nirvana is NOT coming.  The mystic portal is NOT there…the only thing that awaits is weight gain and health problems.   I just hope this all stops before someone actually dies.
The Duckies were funny…but this is serious.  I just wish there was a way to get people to look past getting skinny and understand that there is more to living than a size 4.  Losing weight is not worth losing your life….

Showing Support…

…for the cause!  QUACK QUACK!!
The end is near for a certain somebody who is paranoid about Duckies!  I will go back to Army Kitty soon…but now I introduce to you…CAMO DUCKY!

(From Sesame Street)

Rubber Ducky, you’re the one,
You make bathtime lots of fun,
Rubber Ducky, I’m awfully fond of you;
Woo woo be doo
Rubber Ducky, joy of joys,
When I squeeze you, you make noise!
Rubber Ducky, you’re my very best friend, it’s true!

Cute and yellow and chubby

Day Three…

…kicked some butt with Billy tonight.  I got lots accomplished at work and I was stoked because I was able to workout with my brother as well.  He really motivates me to continue on even when I want to quit.
Did Taebo Elite Upper Body and Taebo Amped Rockin Abs.  My brother and I had a great time…even had a moment when we both were giggling our butts off.  I have discovered that being silly isn’t just something that I do…my brother is just as silly.  I got weak a couple of times…Kellie was no help because she helped make us even more silly.  I can’t wait to workout again with Lou.  We will both be feeling these workouts tomorrow.
I made some garlic buffalo wings yesterday so I had that to eat with a big salad.  My daughter made a wonderful meat sauce so I had some of that as well.  My eating is on track and I know I will complete the challenge.  It feels good to not be sick and feel cruddy.  It is about time.   The rest that I got really helped…I guess my body was upset because I wasn’t listening to it.  I know better the next time.
I am tired…just checking in to keep myself on track.

Day Two…

…moving right along.  I was able to get past Day One and completed Day Two.  Woohoo!  19 days left…I have a good feeling about this challenge.  I think I will complete it…
Did Bootcamp Elite Mission Spot Training Upper Body and Mission Spot Training Lower Body.  Both were excellent workouts and I know I will be feeling those tomorrow.  I am on my way to being lean and cut for the reunion with my husband.  The last reunion sucked big time so I would love to have a good one this go around.  I’m thinking about doing Ultimate Taebo tomorrow…that all depends on how my day goes at work.
The Saints lost…but not that badly.  All is well in the household.  🙂  The Boy is starting to see what I am talking about concerning team pride.
I have some things to finish up around the house…

Yea! Boo!

My links are finally organized! That was driving me crazy….
Today is Sunday…Football Day and now it is my Son’s turn to drive me nuts. He is a newborn Saint’s Fan and they are losing the game. The child is yelling at the computer and grumbling all over the place. I am glad that we can’t actually see the game on television…because I would have to put him out of the house. I guess I am not surprised that the Saint’s are losing a game. I have been a diehard fan of the team for more than 28 years and it actually surprises me when they WIN. I grew up during the ‘AINT’S era and the fans would wear paper bags on their heads to the games. They were 0-15. That was bad…I don’t think it will ever be that bad again. I am telling the child that a true Saint’s fan isn’t fair weather…we love the team even when they lose. I BELIEVE!! I really do believe that the Saint’s will make it to the Superbowl sometime during my lifetime. 28 years of believing…I cannot lose faith now. So I am sitting here explaining to my son that the paperbags on the head is NOT a new thing and we have been through that already. It is only the second game of the season…things will get better…I hope!
Things are looking up…the team is about to make a touchdown…the child is getting into a better mood. I hope there isn’t any fumbling or interceptions. I may have to break out the tranquilizers if that happens!
Ah…the joy of having a teenaged boy in the house…
ETA: I am even considering changing the look of my blog to the Fleur de Lis to make the child feel better.  I have to show him that I have faith in the team.  Amazing…two years ago I couldn’t pay the child to watch a game…now football is all he talks about!

I am still trying to resolve the problem of my blogroll eithr not showing my links or the links are on another list.  If I was a drinking person I would be doing that right now.  I think I will have to pull out the Sunkist on this little project…

Still Here…

…just feeling very ugly. Had my first chemical peel and intensive facial. My face is marked up for right now…I am in the process of healing. I have worked out like planned so the exercise is on track. The eating is on track…I just feel very unattractive right now. I can’t wait until my face heals. 🙁
I saw the President’s speech tonight…while I am like “Eh…so they are coming home. It still doesn’t matter because my husband still got caught up in the extension…” I am RELIEVED that it looks like they will cut down the people there…I hope the unit that was supposed to replace my husband’s doesn’t have to leave. That would be a great Christmas present for the families…
I will be back later…I have been neglecting the blog. Been busy, tired, and now I feel like a monster due to my face…sigh.
I have some things to do…I’ll be back…I promise! 🙂
