Feeling So OLD!!

First off…HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY.  Especially to my Momma.  She is my Hero.  if it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be the strong person that I am today.

My Mother’s Day was spent getting my daughter a PROM DRESS.  I feel so old…she looks so beautiful in her dress.  When she goes to the dance I will make sure I get plenty of pictures…sigh.  The dress is a black and white checked print (Gingham print I think), white eyelet lace on the top of the dress and at the bottom.  She has matching shoes…a head band with a ribbon that ties in the back, earrings, a bracelet, and a matching necklace.  Making her into a GIRL was the best Mother’s Day present I could have ever gotten.  The child has heels, People.  This is the same child that will wear a pair of skater shoes until the fall apart.  We had a little battle though…she was stuck on this one dress that was black with sequins all over it.  She wanted to impersonate a disco ball…I wasn’t having it at all.  She tried on the dress that I picked and she agreed that she looked way better.  My baby is going to a dance and I am so excited…and sad.  She is growing up so fast.
No workout today…I was celebrating M-Day.  My husband sent me some beautiful flowers, the kids and I went to the Mall and we ordered Pizza Hut.  A good day.  I scored some new clothes from Sears of all places.  A pair of khaki short Capris (a size 4), a white senorita skirt (size 4) two new belly piercing jewelry (my daughter picked one with cherries and my son picked out one with a bird…his logic…my name is Robin) and a nice red shirt (my daughter noticed that I am wearing lots of red these days).  Oh yeah…they pooled their money and got me two new pairs of shoes.  Payless rocks!  No shame in my game I LOVE Payless shoes…LOL!
I hope all my friends who are Mothers and their Mothers had a good one.

She’s not prom aged yet!!! What’s the dress for???
Oh yeah… and I am disowning you. I thought I was your hero. Hrmph.

LOL…you are my HERO! But you know my Momma has to have props too! They are having a 8th grade dance that they are calling a “prom”,hence the “prom dress”. The child has a figure…you can tell that she is older than the other stick figure kids in her class. It was very hard finding a dress that didn’t make her look like “Tits McGee”…she is a LARGE C cup. Bordering on a D cup…LORD where has the time gone??

Ok… I’m willing to share the title with Momma. We can be like the dynamic duo! 🙂
GOOD LORD!!! She can’t be that grown already. She just can’t! It’s only been 2 years!

The Puberty Fairy has been busy these days. I woke up one morning and the children looked like grown men and women…Sheez!
