A Good Day…

Day Two of the Kimmer Experiment is behind me and I feel so good.  This morning I was down 2.4 pounds…I have energy and my cravings are gone.  I notice I get into ketosis a lot faster now than I did when I started this low carb journey.  I DO eat a bit more vegetables than what is recommended, but I do exercise.  Some people do great with no exercise at all, but I NEED the exercise.  I find that the weight loss is faster, my body is leaner, and the loose skin on my stomach is slowly but surely going away.  Thank goodness for Taebo and all that ab work.  I don’t think I will need a tummy tuck after I reach my goal afterall.  THANK YOU DR. ATKINS AND BILLY BLANKS!!  You have literally saved my life…
I believe I will stay on the Kimmer Experiment for another day or two and then go back to my tried and true Atkins way of eating.  I knew I had the carb creep going on and seeing a loss this morning just confirmed my suspicions.
Now…The Diet Pulpit  has posted a link to the US Navy’s Estimated Body Fat Calculator .  This is an interesting tool to gauge where you are…like I said it is only an estimate.  The only way to get your true body fat percentage is using the water method.  Where you get weigh under water.  Really pricey and I don’t know many places that offer that service.  I am happy with an estimate…and I am pleased with what it had to say…
This is at my highest weight … I actually found a written journal where I took my measurement.  I thought by doing that it would give me inspiration to move forward on ANY TYPE of weight loss plan.

Your body fat percentage is estimated to be 48.71 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 49.16 % using the formula developed by the YMCA.

This is from today…using my current weight and measurements:

Your body fat percentage is estimated to be 18.13 % using the U.S. Navy body fat formula, or 24.72 % using the formula developed by the YMCA

WOOHOO!!  I don’t think I need any more inspiration to continue working out and my way of eating.  This is totally a lifestyle I do not want to change.  I am waiting patiently for my Taebo Amped to come in the mail.  I would like to start as soon as possible and see what the results will be from using the Amped bar.
I have been SELECTED for a new position with the Government.  My patience and constant self nominating has paid off, People.  I FINALLY got the job that I have been stalking for almost two years and it is two grades higher than what I am now.  I am also changing my series to a series that has upward mobility.  I am so excited…I swear if I still drank alcohol I would be having some wine.  Instead…I did Taebo II Advanced 1 …had a nice steak and salad with a HUGE cup of Crystal Light.  Just as good as a nice glass of wine.  🙂
I have added a couple of new links to the blogroll that I find to be inspiring to me.  One in particular Livin La Vida Low Carb is my favorite.  He inspires me and has lots of information to offer.  He also has a new book that I will definitely be buying…from reading the free chapter I know it will be a great read for anyone wanting information on the low carb lifestyle.
OK…I need to get ready for bed.  There is a baby shower for Kellie (My sister in law) that I have to be ready for…tomorrow it will be a little over a month before the little sweetie is born.  I can’t wait!
Hope everyone had a great day like I did…it is nice to have everything fall into place at times.

I’ve a question: I want to flatting my stomach not abs I just want it flatter what type of exercises do I need to do to target exactly those spots?

Thanks Brian…I will make sure I keep posting the results of low carb low fat. I can’t wait to see what results will happen. Just feeling less bloated is a great plus for me…
Now…as far as spot reducing I don’t believe there is such a thing. The only advice I can give you is crunches, aerobic exercise, and diet. Diet wise I found that doing low carb tends to shrink the stomach area…my stomach started to flatten first when I first started doing lowcarb…Taebo does a lot of balancing moves, crunches, and kicks…you have to engage your abdominal muscles in order to the moves correctly. I am not saying that Taebo and lowcarbing is the ultimate answer…but it worked for me. My stomach is flatter than it has ever been…
    Thanks for commenting…
