Done…

…did Taebo Advanced Live 2 again (because I really like the way I feel afterward) and of course Billy kicked my butt. Ate a great dinner of wings and a salad…and drank tons of water. I guess I am still detoxing the alcohol out of my system. Not recommended though…eating copious amounts of sugar free things during the day to stave off cravings (in my case PMS monster). Trying to do Taebo or any exercise is NOT COOL. It made for an interesting session with Bill. ๐Ÿ™‚
I talked to my Baby Brother and he agreed to start working out with me. YIPPEE! Wonder Twins Power…activate!! Form of…STEAK (that would be me) ๐Ÿ™‚ ! Form of …a loaf of BREAD (Baby Brother) ๐Ÿ™‚ ! LOL…I love him dearly but this child really believes that bread is “a staple of life“. Those are his exact words whenever I mention maybe he should try going low carb for a while. He did give it the old college try (he is an intellectual) and he went through the most intense withdrawal that I have ever seen…headaches, crankiness, dizziness…the works. I felt so bad that I made him eat a carb because Induction was kicking his butt. Anyhoo…we will go to the gym (or maybe his home) on Friday and see what happens. I will not make him do Taebo because he really does need to work himself into doing this type of workout. He took Tae Kwando with my Daddy as a kid so I am sure that he will eventually get into it…I hope. Taebo is fun when there is another person sweating and yelling at the screen with you.
The first workout that I will start him on is upper body intensive. I found an old PT workout that my husband used with his troops …I know it works but it is tough. I will post the workouts that we will do when we go to the Gym (or his house).
EXERCISE:

  • Pushups-40
  • Pushups- 2 X 20
  • Diamond Pushups- 25
  • Leg Raises- 2X 25
  • 6 inches- 30 sec
  • Incline Diamond- 15
  • Situps (or crunches)- 2 X 30
  • Flutter Kicks- 40
  • Incline Pushups- 2 X2

WEIGHTS:

  • Flat Bench Press- 3 sets 15 reps
  • Incline Bench Press- None this week
  • Dips- 3 sets 10 reps
  • Front Presses- 3 sets 10 reps
  • Upright rows- 4 sets 8 reps

Now this is a 5 day(each day works a different area) workout…weekends off. There are different areas worked on different days (this workout is from day 1) working in 4 week intervals adding more reps/time after every 4 weeks. This workout day is obviously a HEAVY upper body workout. Your opinion guys…is this too much to start Baby Brother on?? I will be right there with him doing all those damned pushups so I know that it will be a challenge. Baby Brother was in the Army (been out for 8 months) so I am hoping he will have muscle memory and be able to do this 12 week program with no problem. Also…what kind of diet should I suggest to a carb heavy person. I have the Weight Watchers program…maybe I can give this to him??
I am just so excited that the Wonder Twins will be working out together. ๐Ÿ™‚
