Interesting…I just got an email from Popeye’s….Apparently I emailed them and now they are apologizing to me. I am getting offered a free meal…cool I guess. The problem is I didn’t email anyone about my experience. Hmmm. Who has been busy getting me a free meal?? I know when I complained about the service at Burger King suddenly the fries got hot and the sandwiches started to get better. Too bad I don’t eat carbs anymore. 😀 Here is the email that they sent me. You could have knocked me over with a feather. I am gobsmacked (a British expression):

Hello Robin, My name is T P, Food Program Manager for
the Popeyes Chicken & Biscuit worldwide. Thank you for your e-mail
regarding your experience at the F H Popeyes. I do
apologize. I have spoken with the new Food Court Manager there and
apprised her of the situation and was assured that they would be in the “Naked
Chicken Strips Business” next week. Please take the time and give AAFES
another opportunity to earn your business and have lunch on us. Ask to
speak to V, Food Court Manager, and I am sure V will assure you have a
fine dining experience. If there is anything else I can be of service with
or if you would just like to talk about your recent experience please give me a
call. Again, I do apologize
